Internships & Externships

Work with our board-certified specialists

“One of the most valuable career decisions I made was pursuing my internship at AESC. The program provided the opportunity to take my procedural skill set to another level by allowing hands-on training in surgery, endoscopy, and countless other procedures. In addition, I was exposed to a high case load that allowed me to expand my knowledge base by working through diverse cases under the direction of top-level mentorship. At the end of the year, I was a completely different doctor – more confident, more knowledgeable, and equipped with a much stronger foundation for my career.”

– Nikki Branam, DVM

“The hands on training and primary case experience I received while doing my internship at Animal Emergency and Specialty Center was invaluable. I would not have the knowledge base and clinical skills I have today without the guidance of experienced ER doctors and specialists.”

– DeAnne Fanta, DVM, MPH
