Animal Emergency & Specialty Center is East Tennessee’s premier veterinary emergency & specialty hospital. With hospitals in Knoxville and Chattanooga, we provide veterinary specialty services to pet owners throughout Tennessee and neighboring states. Our Knoxville hospital is home to our internship and externship program, though participants may rotate through our Chattanooga practice.
Our oncology, surgery, and internal medicine residents all take part in educating students and leading them through cases. Interns and externs spend a substantial amount of time working in our 24-hour emergency department with our experienced emergency clinicians.
