  • Thank you to Animal Emergency & Specialty Center for your excellent care of our cat, Alex. You took great care of Alex during his radioactive iodine treatment.

  • I cannot day enough wonderful words about this place. We had to go twice, this past weekend being our first overnight stay. Nothing was done that shouldn’t have been or the team felt was unnecessary. My kitty is stable and is going to be around for a few more.

What We Do

Feline Surgery. Animal Emergency & Specialty Center is dedicated to optimizing your cat’s outcome and well-being through a surgical team working collaboratively with your neighborhood vet and our other specialty services to provide the best possible care for your cat. Our veterinary surgeons determine the least invasive and most effective procedures for your cat’s condition before moving forward with surgery or recommending a surgical alternative to minimize discomfort and complications as well as maximize outcomes. Whether cat dog needs surgery for urinary blockage, abdominal surgery to remove that string he or she ate, tumor surgery, or something else, trust the surgical team at AESC to care for your beloved cat.

Feline Orthopedics. A quiet cat may be a sore cat, one that’s stopped moving more than necessary. Our surgeons are expert in orthopedic conditions of cats, performing lameness exams and gait evaluation to assess the orthopedic or neurologic cause of a cat’s lameness. Depending on the cause of an orthopedic injury or change in gait, our surgeons may recommend surgical intervention or medical treatment and physical therapy for your cat.
