Our critical care department is operated by Brian Rutherford, DVM, and our board-certified criticalist, Natasha Hodgson, DVM, MS, DACVECC. Dr. Rutherford and Dr. Hodgson work alongside our other veterinary specialists to provide a specialized plan for each patient we see.
Above all else, we provide the highest-quality critical care services for your pet at all times. If your pet is in critical condition or needs continuous monitoring, our staff is ready.
Providing critical care services to your pet
Our ER and ICU are open and staffed 24 hours a day. We’re ready to provide 24-hour monitoring or care if your precious pet needs help. For contagious patients, we have an isolation ward to keep all of our patients comfortable and safe while healing.
Referring a pet
If you need assistance diagnosing or treatment a particular patient, we want you to get in touch.
Please call our referral coordinator to let us know you have a patient on the way. Just send a referral form and the patient’s record via fax or email, or your client can bring the forms when they visit our hospital. Thank you for your referral and trust in our care.
